HEALTH SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT (HSE) POLICY STATEMENT
Seina Marine Limited recognizes the importance of maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental protection to the intrinsic growth of the organization. Consequently, we are committed to ensuring a safe work place, and preventing untoward incidents, accidents and injuries of employees, clients and all relevant stakeholders; through the effective execution of a HSE Management System that is consistent with the contractors’ and clients’ project requirements. Our HSE Policy Statement is as follows: Seina Marine Limited shall,
• Develop, implement and maintain an effective and practical HSE management system.
• Set objectives and targets on all our operations that shall minimize any impact to the safety, health and environment which comply with the applicable HSE legislation and project requirements.
• Establish documented procedures to enable us satisfy contractual and legal requirements.
• Implementation of the procedures by measuring and monitoring process activities, conducting internal audits and gathering information for management reviews.
• Establish and maintain training, awareness and competency programs.
• Correct immediately any non-conformance and put into place preventive measures to avoid reoccurrence.
• Establish communications with the workforce, local community, governing bodies and any other interested parties.
• Strive to continually improve our performance in all phases of our business activities.
• Take all practical measure to prevent accidents and pollution in all phases of our business activities.
It is the responsibility of all employees to ensure full compliance, and successful implementation of the Policy, through the use of all issued safety equipment at their disposal, observation of company safety rules, standards and procedures, and enforcement of disciplinary measures in the event of a violation of the HSE
Policy. Every staff of SEINA MARINE LTD and its contractors/subcontractors must plan and perform his or her work in accordance with this policy. Any activity, which in the opinion of the employee cannot be carried out in accordance with this policy, must be suspended and reported immediately to
the relevant supervisor. Senior management shall ensure that the Policy is adhered to by all levels of the organization in the strictest sense, at all times.
The Policy shall be prominently displayed at all office and site locations, and shall be readily accessible to all employees. A Bi-annual review of the policy shall be conducted, for improvement and adaptation to evolving health, safety and environment practices.
